Join this walk to discover geology in the city centre. You’ll be going around the shops, but with a difference.
About this Event

In this 3rd and final Birmingham Building Stones trail we will explore the use of decorative natural stone from the most modern of shopping centres to a rare surviving 19th century arcade, embarking on a journey all around the world and back into the depths of geological time. In this trail we will see how natural stone has been used in Birmingham's story from the earliest of times to the 21st century. Free trail leaflets will be available at the event.

There are pdfs of the leaflets and a series of mobile friendly web pages for each of the trails. These can all be found on the Black Country Geological Websiite here.

The web pages have maps and additional photos.

Start and end point - Meet by the Bull sculpture in Rotunda Square, City Centre. Finish at the Great Western Arcade, Temple Row.
