About this Event
Shape your sound by building a resonant low-pass filter designed to pair with the 555 timer oscillator from Week 1 and an analog white noise generator.
This workshop focuses on filters, one of the most fundamental building blocks of analog synthesis. We will build a resonant low-pass filter from scratch, learning how capacitors and resistors work together to sculpt frequency content and determine resonant spectral peaks. We’ll test our filters by applying them to our oscillators from Week 1, as well as an analog white noise generator which we will also build together in the workshop. No prior experience is required to participate. All components and equipment will be provided. There is no cost to attend this workshop.
