CKA: Human Growth and Development
This session introduces young early childhood educators to the essential role that strong, nurturing relationships play in the healthy development of infants and toddlers. This session is grounded in attachment theory and responsive caregiving practices.
Training Objectives:
- Leaners will be able to share what secure attachment looks like, feels like and sounds like.
- Learners will share strategies for implementation of attuned interactions.
- Learners will share their knowledge of strategies for co-regulation to support and guide.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
