Dr. Roger Ball, MSW, will lead a session on building resilient communities through culturally responsive practices in community schools. The webinar will focus on reducing student trauma, enhancing cultural responsiveness, and fostering supportive educational environments.
Participants will explore strategies for effective youth engagement, understand trauma types, and develop practical approaches to creating trauma-sensitive school environments while integrating social-emotional learning (SEL) into the curriculum.

Dr. Roger Ball, MSW, Consultant
Dr. Roger Ball is a seasoned social work administrator with over 20 years of experience serving children and families in NYC and beyond. He currently supervises social workers in the Bronx for the New York City Public School system's Office of Safety and Youth Development. Dr. Ball has also expanded social work internship opportunities and held various leadership roles, including assistant principal and program director. Additionally, he is an adjunct instructor at multiple colleges and has authored three books.
