Who is Agape Earth Coalition?
Agape Earth Coalition is a collective of youth climate campaigners from Africa with a vision to create a safe space for Climate movement groups to work together to develop collective and collaborative strategies to tackle the climate crisis in the African continent. Their main objectives are to demand climate justice; to pressure world leaders to take climate action that ensures a major focus on the African perspective with regard to climate change, and climate solutions tailored to vulnerable communities.
The day will feature community discussions with the coalition's activists, where we’ll learn about the critical issues impacting their communities and explore opportunities for tangible solidarity. You’ll also take part in community discussion circles, share insights, and engage in hands-on arts and crafts activities.
In addition to thought-provoking conversations, we’ve created space for joy, music, and connection—because building a just climate future requires not just action, but community and celebration. Let’s come together to nurture relationships, amplify voices, and envision a more connected, climate-conscious world!
