This gathering brings together spiritual and community leaders from different traditions for an evening grounded in conversation and connection. Attendees will share tables with new people, engage with thoughtful prompts, enjoy food, and take part in a guided discussion that leads into a collective conversation. The experience is designed to feel relational, grounded, and human, with a focus on what becomes possible when people come together with intention.
Building Beloved is part of In This Place 2026: This is Memphis, a citywide season of culture, community, and capital powered by The Big We and rooted at Historic Clayborn Temple. Throughout the season, gatherings invite people to connect, reflect, and strengthen the relationships that hold Memphis together. This event plants the seed for ongoing healing work that can grow long after the season ends.
