About this Event
Join us for our first event to discuss forming an entrepreneurship community in NMES, where ideas, networks and experiences come together.
We’ll be joined by two inspiring academics:
Professor Martin Ulmschneider, Inventor and product developer of Cytolytix limited | ValiRx plc (a spin out from King’s College London) who are developing precision nanoparticle therapies targeting tumours such as triple negative breast cancer.
Dr Molly Haugen, CEO and co-founder of Aetosense | Empowering Clean Air (a spin out from The University of Cambridge) who are building air quality sensors to monitor ultrafine particles and improve air quality.
They’ll share insights from their entrepreneurial journeys, highlight successes, challenges and lessons learned.
This is your chance to:
· Hear first-hand from fellow academics who are successfully navigating the path from research to impact
· Ask questions and gain practical advice for your own ideas/ventures
· Connect and mingle with likeminded individuals
· Speak with members of your Enterprise & Engagement team and meet our NMES Entrepreneur in Residence (David Walsh) who can support you in your journey
· Share your thoughts on what you’d like to see more of, to help grow this entrepreneurial community
Whether you’re exploring commercial pathways, curious about impact creation or simply want to network with peers, this event is for you!
A sandwich lunch will be served.
