About this Event
Reshaping Nodes focuses on the physical dimension of network infrastructures.
In this session, participants will dismantle, modify, and rebuild routers and antennas, experimenting with materials, forms, and configurations. The goal is not only functional performance, but also to question how the design of technical objects reflects specific needs, values, and political intentions.
Through collective experimentation, we explore how connectivity devices can be reimagined as adaptable, situated, and reproducible tools - shaped by communities rather than imposed by centralized systems.
This workshop emphasizes hands-on exploration and documentation: each experiment, including failures, contributes to a shared repository of knowledge, making the process reproducible and open.
Part of the Building a Mutable Net series by Luca Marini, this session contributes to a broader reflection on infrastructures as collective and mutable systems.
No previous technical experience is required.
