About this Event
Large companies rely on data every day: to track costs, measure productivity, forecast sales, support targeted advertising, and much more. Many small and local businesses, however, lack the resources to collect and use data. This semester, the Economics Club is taking on that challenge. We’ll work together to develop a data product designed specifically for Omaha’s local businesses. Something they can easily access and use to improve decision-making. The club will meet three times this semester, making it a low-commitment, high-impact opportunity. You’ll gain hands-on, real-world experience working with data, collaborate with other students interested in economics and analytics, and contribute directly to strengthening Omaha’s local economy. If you’re interested in applied economics, data, or making a tangible impact beyond the classroom, this project is for you.
