Men of Marathon County, this one's for you. What does it look like for a man to show up for his community? It looks like one hour on a Saturday. It looks like mentoring a kid who just needs someone consistent. It looks like being the person you maybe needed when you were younger.
On April 21st, CASA of Marathon County is joining forces with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, The Women's Community, and Marathon County Social Services to invite the men of Marathon County to something simple: lunch, a conversation, and a chance to find where you fit.
At noon, featured speaker Gaelin Elmore, former foster youth and football player, will share what it meant to have people show up for him, and what it means now to be that person for others.
No experience required. No long-term commitment pressure. Opportunities range from one hour to ten hours a month. There is something here for every schedule and every season of life.
April 21st | 11am to 1pm
Dudley Tower, 5th Floor
Gaelin speaks at 12pm
Free. Drop in style. RSVP encouraged.
Tag a man in your life who leads with his heart. This community needs him.
