Whether you’re brand new to entomology art or have been curious about pinning for years, this workshop is designed to guide you from start to finish with no experience needed! We will walk through multiple butterfly pinning methods, proper handling techniques, and I will help you through pinning 3 of your own specimens. If you have attended Bugs n Brews in the past, this is not the traditional decorative shadowbox making workshop! This class is aimed to teach the art of pinning so it will be a bit different! There will be more decorative workshops in the future, but my goal is to teach people that oddity art IS accessible to everyone. You do not need to have the hands of a surgeon, you just have to be willing to try something new!
