How it Works
All storytellers have seven minutes with a friendly warning at the six minute mark. We’ll have the sign up list available at 6:45. We invite you to come and tell a story or just sit back, have a drink, and listen to your friends and neighbors share personal stories in a safe, relaxed atmosphere.
What to Tell - True Stories
The theme for this event is “Why didn’t you tell me that before.” Tell from the head, heart, or bring notes. Any story about this prompt is the right story. No experience is necessary. No critiquing, comments, or scoring. Consider the same stories you tell your family and friends - everything from stories from your life to what you experienced on the job yesterday. They can be dramatic, funny, strange, or heartbreaking. It all fits. The only guidelines are no hate speech and it must be a true story from life.
