Welcome back to one of Buenos Bergen’s most beloved concepts: the Bergen Milonga Weekend - a relaxed and friendly event celebrating Bergen’s outstanding tango community This is a not for profit event organised by the DJs and Hosts of Tango Abrazo with one purpose only: to create a memorable tango weekend:
- Great music! There will be four local DJs from our world renowned Bergen DJ factory
- Our host team will make sure everyone enjoys a warm welcoming atmosphere throughout
- no registration needed, but you do get a significant discount if you sign up for all milongas in advance (800NOK)
- everyone is welcome - if you want to join one, several or all milongas you are most welcome (250NOK/milonga); this also means that role balance is not guaranteed

How to get to Bergen?
- Direct flights from the main Norwegian cities. Oslo, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen are good connecting hubs if coming from further away. As an example, a trip with Norwegian from Oslo-Bergen Friday afternoon and leaving sunday evening costs 1900 NOK
- Train from Oslo is also a great option with a return trip costing around 2000 NOK
where to stay:
- for this particular weekend you can get quite cheap accommodation - booking.com shows options as low as 900NOK/night for a double room in Bergen City Hostel and in Xhibition Bergen City - that is 450NOK/person/night with less than 5 minutes walk from the event!
