Are you (or your child) an aspiring artist? Register to join us for Budding Creatives in the Park (ACRYLIC PAINTING), with Rachel Frey. Learn the technical skills of acrylic painting and create your own piece that represents a place you love. Rachel Frey is a local artist who aims to support healing of self and community by advancing meaningful arts and recreation opportunities in her hometown. She has been painting for three years, but has embodied creativity for a lifetime! As a UND senior student in Inclusive Rehabilitation Sciences, her instructional approach is grounded in inclusivity and affirming each individual's unique creative process. She believes that the arts are a key component to building healthy communities and is thrilled to support each Budding Creative as they grow roots in the Greater Grand Forks area.
Sessions will take place in Skidmore Park from 3-5pm on July 17th and 24th. We hope to see you there!
