About this Event

Join us for the weekend of October 10th through the 13th at the Fairview Lake YMCA in Stillwater, New Jersey for an inspiring gathering hosted by the Buddhist Recovery Network. This event will feature some of our most beloved BRN Academy speakers, including Kevin Griffin, Valerie Mason-John (Vimalasara), and Vince Cullen. We are also excited to introduce new voices such as Cathryn Jacob from Elsa Recovery and have topics to share from other members of the BRN network and board.

Throughout the weekend, we will delve into a range of thought-provoking topics designed to enrich your journey in Buddhist recovery.

Arrival on Thursday evening will allow you time to network with others and settle in, experiencing the initial retreat and meditation portion. The main programming and keynote will kick-off midday on Friday.

Format

This is not just a conference; it is also intended to be a retreat. We will be sharing meals and lodging and including aspects of a retreat such as meditation, yoga, music, and other opportunities to hang out and get to know each other.

Accommodation will be in cozy cabins, each sleeping 10-12 people, with both co-ed and single-gender options available. In addition, there are numerous vacation rental options in the area
Bedding is not provided and will need to be purchased as a $30 add-on or brought with you.
Meals
Depending on your length of stay meals will be provided which are vegetarian, with vegan and gluten-free options.
Location
Fairview Lake YMCA (fairviewlakeymca.org) an ACA accredited camp, is beautifully situated on a mile-long lake, adjacent to the Delaware River Water Gap National Recreation Area's lush forest.
