Creating a Buddhafield
Buddhafield Camping Retreat is a safe, fun, co-created, and emergent gathering grounded in the Dharma, meditation and spiritual friendship.
This camping retreat, set in the tranquil bushland of SkyRock, continues the thread of the ever popular Buddhafield village held at ConFest since 2014 by members of the Triratna Buddhist Community. It has been initiated by a group of friends in the Triratna community that have previously participated in Buddhafield and who love camping retreats.
It will have a daily focus of meditation, dharma talks, and devotional practices, as well as plenty of free space in which participants are encouraged to create and share workshops and other activities.
This is a space to come together in gratitude and reverence for our unique selves, nature and this earth, our relationships, and the deeper mystery of this amazing reality we all share.
The camping retreat will be held over three days, and the gathering is strictly drug and alcohol free. Vegan dinners will be provided, but you'll need to bring your own breakfast and lunch.
