Lindigo are one of Réunion Island’s most popular Maloya groups who have performed over 1,500 concerts globally and released eight albums. They are currently touring Australia with shows at major festivals. This is their only show in Melbourne.
For 20 years, the Lindigo group, led by Olivier Araste, has been Reunion Island's most popular Maloya group. Their approach goes beyond nostalgia, using their roots to build the future—this is the essence of "Maloya Power." With over 1,500 concerts, eight albums, and numerous hits (Domoun, Ahinama), they captivate audiences with their vibrant performances. On stage, the nine-member group blends acoustic Maloya with Afrobeat, Mandingo, and Afro-Cuban music, creating an infectious and inclusive experience.
