[Invitation | 2026 Cambridge Buddha Bathing Festival: Purify the Mind, Cultivate Good Affinities]

When the sage does not appear, the long night of the ages continues. The appearance of Shakyamuni Buddha brought hope to all sentient beings in this world of suffering. We hope that through respectfully bathing the Buddha image with pure fragrant water, we may also contemplate cleansing the dust of afflictions from our own minds, while making vows to help other beings move from suffering toward happiness.
This event will be held in two parts: a Mandarin-language Buddha Bathing Dharma Assembly from 10:00 to 15:00 (£15), and a bilingual Mandarin-English Buddha Bathing Festival event from 15:00 to 16:00 (free of charge). Registration is required for both sessions.
We sincerely invite you and your family to come to the BWUK SOW classroom and join this auspicious Buddha Bathing celebration. Together, let us make offerings, cultivate blessings, and deepen wisdom.
