When leaf buds burst and flowers bloom we can learn a lot about the health of our natural world and how it responds to pressures like changes in weather, climate, and more. Join Jennings staff on Saturday, May 2 at 10 am to learn more about how you can help in another installment of our year of community science: Budburst: Tracking Blooms and More for Science!! Participants will examine the recently blooming or soon-to-emerge plants, get general ID tips, and learn how to upload pictures and data to the Budburst app or website. This program is most well suited for adults and children over 10, though families with younger children are welcome to attend together (activities are not geared toward young children). The program is free and no registration is required.
