About this Event
KDSAP is hosting one of our biggest events of the year! A hands-on kidney dissection where you’ll have the opportunity to explore real renal anatomy up close. This session is designed to give you a deeper, more tangible understanding of the kidney’s structure and function, going beyond what you might see in a textbook or lecture.
Throughout the event, we’ll guide you through key anatomical features of the kidney and explain how each part contributes to its role in maintaining overall health. We will also connect what you observe to important clinical concepts, helping you better understand how kidney function relates to disease and patient care. Whether you are considering a future in healthcare or simply interested in learning something new, this experience offers a unique and meaningful way to engage with the material.
The event is on Friday, 4/10, from 5:45–7:00 PM in SAR B101. No prior experience is necessary—just come ready to learn, ask questions, and participate in a hands-on exploration!
