What started off as a friendly competition between two friends is now an annual competition among Chefs and home cooks. This year’s competition will include 3-time champion home cook Kevin Grogan and 1-time champion home cook Brian Tolbert. This years contestants include Brett Berry of Armadillo Den, Executive Chef Donnie Forehand, Chef Extraordinaire Zack Northcutt and many more chefs and home cooks....There will be Live Music while each contestant submits 3 gallons of their finest Cajun cuisine to be judged by a panel of judges and everyone in attendance! Panel Judges commence at 2:30pm and Peoples Choice judging/sampling begins at 3pm.
*Donation levels:
- $10 samples of each gumbo plus 3 voting tickets
- $20 samples of each gumbo, 1 bowl of gumbo, plus 3 voting tickets
- $30 unlimited samples and bowls of gumbo, plus 3 voting tickets
**50% of proceeds go to Operation Turkey and 50% goes to the charity of the winner chosen by the Panel of Judges (Operation Turkey will make the donation on behalf of the winner).
