About:
Austin Empty Bowl Project is a volunteer-run organization led by the pottery community, dedicated to fighting hunger in Central Texas. In addition to its annual flagship event featuring donated bowls, soup, bread, and live music, AEBP also hosts a summer concert featuring local musicians to raise additional funds for programs at the Central Texas Food Bank and Meals on Wheels Central Texas. Both events have collectively raised over $1 million and continue to expand their efforts to address food insecurity in the community through year-round outreach and partnerships.
