Banda Sin Nombre is launching a new album of all original music, and you're invited to be the first to hear! Celebrating 10 years with this five-piece band lineup in 2025, BSN combines the rhythms of folk music from around the world to create a new sound, melding the past & present as an invitation to release, connect, and move with joy in community.
Mae Powell is a Bay Area based singer songwriter with a rainbow tinged timeless sound. She released her sophomore album "Making Room For the Light" in August 2025 on Colemine Records. You can find Mae singing jazz, spinning vinyl, or playing her original music with her five-piece band made up of her very best friends.
Hannah Mayree (they/them) is an artist and musician whose work as a banjoist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist has made cultural waves over the last decade, as a conduit for music and craft expansion in Black folk expression. Hannah has a body of work that highlights original and traditional banjo compositions as well as harmonies through acoustic live vocal looping and involves audiences in community singing. Hannah’s performances highlight both the Black string and tradition as well as innovating between genres, expressing the conditions of our world and sparking change through culturally stewarded experiences they curate for music loving communities. They founded and creatively direct the Black Banjo Reclamation Project which is currently creating musical, cultural and land-based opportunities for Black, Afro-Diasporic communities around the world to work with the banjo as a tool for reclaiming ancestral wisdom & creating Afro-futures.
