So after an amazing response to our soft launch, we have decided to go ahead and go for it! BSK Mums Meet, starting THIS TUESDAY🥰❤️ Now we are going to mumsplain it all for ya...
From your feedback, we are aware that it's a rather late time for it. But this will ensure we have the space to ourselves outside of our busy restaurant service and if there are mums that don't mind breaking away from the usual routine for a night to have real adult conversations, it will be worth it☺️ It may break up the last hour before bedtime too (the last wake window of the day always feels the longest😂) If you can make it work, try and make it... it might just stop you from losing your marbles
At BSK, 159 Albert Road📍 Totally free to attend! We will have coffees, tea and cakes available to buy when you're here ☺️ Parking is available down Baker Street and Emily Street Car Park down the road (sure its only like £1.60 there!)
We welcome (and totally expect) your babies to come along! Babies from newborn to 4 years old welcome💛 We have baby/children accessible toilets and some snacks/colouring sheets available for the BSK littles, and we can offer boiled water and a microwave for heating food/bottles. But you may want to bring your own toys/entertainment/snacks for them, as this is a group for the parents! To laugh, cry and get deep about the lows and highs of parenthood! Mess and loudness is expected with the kids!
We know everyones family is different. Mums Meet just has a nice ring to it, but all parents welcome. If there are any dads, grandparents, or caregivers that are maybe feeling a bit lonely or are struggling in the newborn trenches seeing this post, please come along🥰 We are going to be a safe space for all parents of any kind ❤️
Finally, we have seen the feedback on parents with older children wanting something simular for them, but as of now we are just starting with the babies and toddler mums to see how it goes. Theres nothing saying we can't do something in the future if a lot of parents of older childen/SEND children would feel like they would want something like this too 😘 We see you!
Think we covered every base there?😅 See you at BSK Tuesday!❤️
