About this Event
Peter F. Hamilton is a bestselling and award-winning science fiction writer. Best known for his epic space opera novels, Peter began writing in 1987 and sold his first short story to Fear magazine in 1988. In 1993, his first novel Mindstar Rising was published – the first in the Greg Mandel trilogy. He has since written many successful science fiction books, including The Night’s Dawn, Commonwealth Saga and The Void series, along with the standalone novels Fallen Dragon and The Great North Road and the short fiction collections A Second Chance at Eden and Manhattan in Reverse.
His latest novel, Exodus: The Archimedes Engine, to be published by Tor UK on 19th September, is the first part of duology set within the world of Exodus, a science fiction action-adventure video game from Archetype Entertainment. Set within a universe in which humanity has fled a dying Earth in order to find a new home in a hostile galaxy, this promises to be an exciting, futuristic epic.
