Serving: 450 +/- Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs), Deputies, support staff & some K9s too! 👮🏻‍♂️ 🐕 👮🏻
🗺️ Meeting Spot delivering items/giving thanks:
Begin at Chico Police Department (1460 Humboldt Rd, Chico CA 95928) at 8:45 AM; route info for all locations receiving our in-person deliveries will be given to those participating at later date.
📆 This date falls within or adjacent to the following events related to recognizing and remembering Law Enforcement staff: Correctional Officer Appreciation Week and National Police Week and National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

OBJECTIVE:
We have a LE Support committee who, along with other interested helpers from our community, will make the delivery of the DONATED ITEMS ABOVE to the Chico Police Department, the California Highway Patrol- Chico division, and in Oroville the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) Jail Deputies & staff and Patrol Deputies & their support staff and we will end at the Oroville CHP division.
ACTION: The committee and any community volunteers will be stuffing the treats and such into gift bags to be delivered to each location. An instruction sheet will be provided to all helpers with where to meet up to stuff bags, then where to gather on the actual date to begin donation drop offs and provide the addresses of each delivery-site and any special instructions for parking and entry.
Those making the deliveries will give our thanks in person for the work our amazing local law enforcement do every day on behalf of our community and present them with our gifts of gratitude. The goal is to role model an appreciation and respect for our law enforcement community and help kids connect in a positive way with those charged to keep us safe.💙
