For English - see below.Le Zingkrayz – littéralement ‘cercle de chant’ – est une tradition dans la culture Yiddish. Ce n’est pas un groupe de musique, ni une chorale, ni un atelier. Mais tout simplement l’occasion de se rassembler un dimanche après-midi par mois pour chanter ensemble, partager et apprendre des chansons (d’amour ? de lutte ?!) en Yiddish dans une ambiance détendue.
*** Pour cette édition du 8 mars, nous mettons à l’honneur la Journée internationale des droits des femmes, avec des chansons de femmes, sur les femmes et sur les droits des femmes ! ***
POUR QUI? Ouvert à toutes les personnes qui aiment chanter et qui souhaitent découvrir l’univers magnifique et varié du chant Yiddish. Aucune expérience préalable n’est requise.

A Zingkrayz - literally 'singing circle' - is a tradition in Yiddish culture. It's not a band, or a choir nor even a workshop. Rather just an excuse to meet once a month for a relaxed Sunday afternoon and sing Yiddish songs (love songs? revolutionary songs?) together.
*** For this speical session on 8 March, International Women's Day, we will dive into the rich repertoire of Yiddish song by women, and about women and women's rights! ***
WHO IS IT FOR? The Zingkrayz is open to anyone who likes singing and who wants to discover the wonderful and diverse world of Yiddish song. No prior experience is required.
