About this Event
Mate & Create is a relaxed, creative and social class designed to help you meet new people through hands-on workshops and meaningful conversation. If you'd like the chance to meet three new strangers in a fun, low pressure setting, this is the perfect, welcoming session for you.
Each workshop features a unique beginner-friendly craft, with all the materials provided and step-by-step guidance from a professional artists throughout. In this weeks session we will be painting tapered candles and pouring eco-resin into moulds to make their corresponding candle holders.
While not mandatory - guests are encouraged to book solo to get the most out of the experience. Before the session, you will receive a short personality and interest questionnaire. On the night you will be seated at a table of four - the answers from your questionnaire will help us thoughtfully match you with people we think you'll connect with.
As you create, we'll encourage conversation through thought-provoking question cards placed on each table, helping break the ice naturally and making it easier to get to know the people around you.
Expect a warm, friendly atmosphere, guided creativity, and the chance to leave with your own hand-made creation and some new connections.
