About this Event
Black Love, Mental Health, and the Stories That Shape Us
Brown Sugar is a curated seated dining experience centred on Black love, community, and mental health. An evening that invites everyone to join thoughtful conversations about how we learn to love and how those lessons stay with us.
Together, we will reflect on the relationships that have shaped our emotional worlds, including self, family, friendship, and romance. The discussion will be guided but open, grounded in lived experience, cultural context, and collective reflection. This is a space for honesty, listening, and connection, held with care and intention.
This gathering is presented by Hip Hop Healing in collaboration with community partners who share a commitment to wellness, culture, and meaningful connection. We are grateful to , , and for their partnership and support in bringing this evening to life.
This is a shared table and conversation with good food and vibes.
