Come along to our first Permablitz for the spring season.During this Blitz we will be setting up a fire bath, setting up a new garden are with sheet mulching and wicking beds establishing some wicking beds, setting up a gabion wall as well as tiding up the grape vines.
Jobs will include:
Setting up a fire bath (an outdoor bath that is heated by a fire underneath.
Preparing and setting up IBC wicking beds
Erecting and filling a gabion wall
Cleaning up and pruning the existing grape vines
and of course, some sheet mulching
Vikki our host has just completed her Permaculture Design Course with the Ballarat Permaculture Guild and is keen to start implementing some of the ideas she has learnt.
Children are welcome to participate. However please be aware that there are general hazards on the property, and children will need to be supervised across the day.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided by the host, so registration is essential for catering purposes. Please register a FREE ticket for each attendee (including children) and advise any dietary requirements.
