The 'MY AUSTRALIA' exhibition, is an event designed for free expression and story telling through ART. Here, artists are encouraged to explore a diverse range of mediums encompassing traditional forms as well as more contemporary approaches like collage, digital art or assemblage, to name a few. Poets, actors, musicians and a special section for military art is also catered for.
We have noted there is an abundance of talented people within our district producing excellent art work but who have never had the opportunity of showcasing what they can do.
Their finished works often end up being left lying in places, away from the public eye.
Art should be seen and artists deservingly recognized.
Through the generosity of, 'Ballarat South Senior Citizens Club Inc', artists can now share in a fantastic public space to showcase their art, at no cost, and where the public can view the works for free.
'Ballarat South Senior Citizens Club Inc' have a solid reputation in offering a safe and friendly environment for all.
Through popular public request, they are once again happily hosting The 'My Australia' Art Exhibition.
Patrons can take a journey of imagination through the many art works and can even purchase original art. Vote for the 'People's Choice' art award. Enter a raffle and win some fantastic prizes. Taste one ,or maybe two, of arguably the best sausage sizzles ever, while enjoying a complimentary tea or coffee. You may even like to check out the clubs activities and meet new acquaintances. There is always something happening in the community of Redan.
