It’s time to reset, breathe, and begin the year rooted in nature.
Join Brown Girls Rooted for a transformative weekend retreat at Amicalola Falls State Park, home to Georgia’s tallest waterfall and the gateway to the Appalachian Trail.
This 3-day, 2-night winter campover (January 23–25, 2026) is designed for women and girls who are ready to reconnect—with nature, with each other, and with themselves.
🗓️ Weekend Highlights:
🌊 Waterfall Hike & Reflection Circle – Begin the new year with intention and guided journaling at the base of Amicalola’s falls.
🪶 Falconry Demonstration & Wildlife Talk – Learn about Georgia’s native birds of prey and the power of patience, focus, and flight.
🔥 Campfire Conversations – Gather under the stars for storytelling, s’mores, and soul talk.
🧭 Survival Skills Workshop – Hands-on session on fire-building, shelter, and nature safety.
🪻 Wellness Morning & Gratitude Hike – Gentle movement, tea, and group reflections to close out the weekend.
🏕️ Lodging Options:
Participants can choose cabins or group camping (based on availability).
All spaces are shared, and group meals will be provided. Packing list and itinerary will be emailed two weeks prior.
