Go into full brown bear discovery mode both at the Alaska Zoo and in the wild at McNeil River State Game Sanctuary.Meet zoo brown bear giants Oreo and Izzy up close with a zookeeper during a 30-minute encounter. Zookeepers work with the brown bears to develop trained behaviors for their care and you can watch this training up close and behind-the-scenes. Reserve a date for this limited offer encounter. Encounters start at 9am and require advance registration online due to limited attendance of 4 total participants (minimum of 2 participants). Children must be age 9 and up to participate and must have a parent with them. All participants must be paid in advance, no add-on guests. The encounter fee also includes zoo admission for the day. Fee is $150/person plus service fees in checkout, online registration only.
