Join us for our first Brown Bag concert of the new year! We are so excited to ring in a new season with the MSO Sax Quartet! This is a 45 minute noon-time FREE concert.
The Monongalia Symphony Orchestra Sax (MSO) Quartet is an ensemble of musicians; Jeremiah Bennett (tenor) is a saxophonist and conductor currently serving as the commander of the 249th Army Band. Barbara Miltenberger Green (alto) taught music and directed middle- and high-school bands in Randolph County, WV, before retiring in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Scott Green (baritone) has retired from a long career teaching music in public (mostly elementary) schools, and in small colleges. Curtis Johnson (soprano) retired Associate Professor of Music at West Virginia University, had been on the WVU faculty for more than twenty years.
This project is supported with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval of the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
