Monthly Speaker
Dr. Larry L. Miles is a scholar, educator, U.S. Army veteran, and expert on the African Diaspora. He holds advanced degrees in English and Africana Studies from Clark Atlanta University and has served in national leadership roles with ASCAC and NCBS. His research explores pre-colonial African presence in the Americas, Black-Indigenous intersections, and African spiritual traditions. Dr. Miles is the author of Afro and Indigenous Intersectionality in America and currently teaches with Atlanta Public Schools and Atlanta Metropolitan State College.
