2MX2 | @2mx2
2MX2, the Latinx alternative rock and hip-hop band from Denver, is making waves with their fusion of Latin reggaeton, Spanglish lyrics, rock, and hip-hop. Founded by Owen Trujillo (O1) and Hugo Rodriguez (Juice E Hugo) with producer DMDTheProducer, the group expanded with Lolita (Lolitaworldwide), Kenny O (Flobots), Adrian Garay, and Eastlin, creating a powerful live act known for high-energy performances and social justice-driven messages.
Their 2024 hit single “Si Se Puede” became an anthem of resilience, receiving airplay on Indie 102.3 FM and Latin American stations in Mexico and Argentina, accumulating thousands of streams. Their mix of infectious beats and meaningful lyrics continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
2MX2’s impact is undeniable—they won the Colorado Sound Award for ‘Band You Would Drive 105.5 Miles to See’, and in October 2024, were featured on NPR’s World Cafe Sense of Place: Colorado series, alongside Nathaniel Rateliff. They also received the Arts in Society grant, collaborating with San Luis youth on an inspiring community project.
As they prepare to release their debut album in 2025, 2MX2 is uniting cultures and generations, headlining venues like Levitt Pavilion in Sioux Falls and engaging in powerful activism. More than a band, they are a movement, pushing Latinx music into a bold new future.
