About this Event
The Broome Regional Business Engagement Forum will provide small-to-medium sized businesses the opportunity to hear directly from State Government about avenues for support and capability building.
Hosted by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI), the Broome Forum is designed for WA small and medium-sized enterprises and suppliers across all sectors, operating in Broome or the Kimberley region.
You will hear about a variety of support avenues and free advisory services for small and medium businesses, including funding incentives for bringing on apprentices. There will also be an overview of upcoming State Government work opportunities in Broome and surrounds.
There will be the opportunity to meet and network with procurement officers from State Government as well as the region's Local Content Advisor and industry groups, who can help link your business to relevant support, work and programs.
Presenters include:
- JTSI presenting on government policy and initiatives to assist businesses and funding available through grant rounds; and
- The Department of Training and Workforce Development exploring financial incentives for employing apprentices and trainees.
Registrations open at 7:00am for an 7:30am start
