Welcome to our Broom Making Workshop!
Come join us for a hands-on experience where you'll learn the art of crafting your very own broom (besom). This Samhain we will mark the transition between summer and winter by weaving sacred circle and besom crafting together to honour personal intentions, and our collective past kin.
Drawing on practices of somatic awareness, our evening begins with an exploration of revisiting and reawakening pieces of the self to help guide intention setting in the creation of our besoms. Are there beliefs you want to revisit more of in your life? Are there lessons from ancestors that you wish to keep or let go of? How can we use our brooms this season? Besoms and intention knots fill our evening before closing in a guided meditation and sharing circle.
Choose between two styles of broom made of lavender stalks, and craft a symbolic handle decoration to welcome in the new season and solidify your intent.

About the space:
Nestled in the heart of fernwood, this workshop takes place in Christa’s atelier and counselling studio. Space is limited to 5-6 guests, and comfy floor cushions are encouraged. Overlooking the square, the space has access to a restroom and legroom if you need to step into the night for fresh air.
