About this Event
The Vision for Brooklyn Marine Terminal is a community-led planning process for the future of the Brooklyn Marine Terminal (BMT).
If you missed us at the first Public Workshop on September 28 at the Miccio Center, please join us in-person for a repeat of the first community planning workshop to learn more about the project, the City’s goals, and the opportunities and challenges at the site as we begin to collectively define the community’s vision. The feedback we collect at this workshop will inform community vision for the site.
Attendees are welcome to stop in or leave at any time throughout the event. There will be stations around the room where participants can find information about the plan, the engagement process, the Brooklyn Marine Terminal, and other topics related to the plan, as well as directly engage with members of the project team.
All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to participate, including local residents, workers, stakeholders, and businesses.
This event is free, and light refreshments and childcare will be provided. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and language interpretation will be provided in Spanish and Mandarin.
We encourage you to please RSVP so that we may accurately estimate our attendance, however, registration is not required in advance.
For more information about this project, please visit the project website below where you can find the project overview, an FAQ document, a recording of the initial information session, and all public materials to date.
