Brooke Combe is a Scottish soul-pop singer and songwriter known for her powerful voice, retro sound, and energetic live performances. Raised in Dalkeith, Scotland, she was influenced by her grandparents’ Motown records and her parents’ love for R&B and soul, which inspired her critically acclaimed debut album Dancing At The Edge Of The World (2025) and previous mixtape Black is The New Gold (2023). She gained early attention through online covers and support slots for indie artists, leading to a record deal and a path to becoming a significant new voice in music. She comes to Thekla in Bristol for a headline show on Friday 17th April 2026.
‘If anyone can bring soul back into the popmainstream, it’s surely the diva from Dalkeith.’
‘Michael Kiwanuka’s debut album felt like the beginning of something special; Olivia Dean’s 2024 Glastonbury performance equally so. Brooke Combe’s emergence might show that there’s room for one more at the table.’
