Something Smooth, Colorados finest window salesman Aden Timson (lead vocal/guitar) and “just happy to be here” Ryan Stevens (lead guitar) have been making music together since middle school, always hoping that one day they’d form a real band. That idea finally started to take shape in the late summer of 2024, when they pitched the concept to Costco’s proudest member, John Zitzmann (keyboard/vocals). From there, things moved fast. Soon after, the only option—Jake Buller (drums)—joined the lineup, and for the first time it truly felt like a band ready to perform. But the final piece fell into place in the most natural way: an open mic where paths crossed with the overly qualified Noel Sterling (bass), officially completing Something Smooth. One year later, the band releases their first live EP, capturing the raw energy that has fueled their rise from backyard shows to local venues. Blending longtime friendship with a fresh, unfiltered live sound, Something Smooth delivers exactly what the name promises.
