Calling all young performers ages 8–13! Registration will soon open for the Renaissance Theatre’s popular annual Broadway Camps. These in-person sessions will be held during the weeks of June 15–19 and June 22–26, 2026.Broadway Camp! - June 15–18, 2026 (For Beginners)
Tuition: $110, 3-Hour Morning Sessions
This fun and dynamic three-hour morning camp is designed for students of all skill levels. It offers an exciting introduction to musical theatre, focusing on performance elements such as acting, singing, and movement. Through theatre games, improv, dramatic play, staging, and singing, students will have the opportunity to explore and enhance their talents. Each 4-day session concludes with a special performance for parents and guests, showcasing the students’ hard work and creativity.
Broadway Camp Showz! - June 22–26, 2026 (Intermediate)
Tuition: $125, Full-Day 6-Hour Sessions
Broadway Camp Showz! is an immersive, all-day camp experience for those ready to take their musical theatre skills to the next level. Participants will not only explore but also perform a fully staged Broadway Kids-style production, featuring a script and score adapted from a beloved Broadway musical. To enroll in Broadway Camp Showz!, students must have completed at least one Broadway Camp! session, ensuring they are ready for this more intensive camp experience.
Both camps provide students with the freedom to explore musical theatre through fun and engaging activities like theatre games, improv, staging, and singing. Every child will have the chance to learn, grow, and perform in a supportive and inclusive environment. Each session ends with a special performance where families and friends can see the students shine on stage.
Meet the Renaissance Education Director, Dauphne Maloney
Renaissance Broadway Camps are led by Dauphne Maloney, a well-known teaching artist and youth theatre advocate in North Central Ohio. Mrs. Maloney is the founder and director of Mansfield Youth Theatre (MY Theatre), former Resident Director for the Renaissance Youth Opera Theatre (RYOT), and has directed over 300 productions. She has been a vital part of the Mansfield Playhouse for more than 20 years. Students will work directly with Mrs. Maloney and other experienced youth theatre professionals, gaining valuable skills and confidence along the way.
