About this Event
Join Us for an Unforgettable Evening with Chef Elise Landry at Broadmoor Bistro
On Wednesday, April 29, Broadmoor Bistro is proud to welcome Chef Elise Landry for the fourth event in our Guest Chef Dinner Series. A Broadmoor Bistro alumnae, Elise returns to the kitchen where her culinary journey began, now as an accomplished chef and co-owner of Gold Standard in Olympia, Washington.
With over 17 years of experience across multiple disciplines including baking, pastry, butchery, and savory cooking, Elise has built a dynamic and thoughtful approach to food. Her work reflects a deep respect for the abundance of the Pacific Northwest, while honoring her Midwestern and Southern roots. Her cooking is grounded in seasonality, sustainability, and a strong connection to local foodways.
Elise’s journey has taken her from Kansas City to Massachusetts, through South America, Orcas Island, New Orleans, and ultimately Olympia. Each place has shaped her perspective and influences the food she creates today, blending technique, agriculture, and storytelling into a cohesive and meaningful dining experience.
For this special evening, Chef Landry will collaborate directly with Broadmoor Bistro culinary students, offering a one night menu that highlights mentorship, exploration, and the connection between education and industry.
