About this Event

The British Coatings Federation (BCF) is the trade association for decorative paints, industrial and powder coatings, printing inks and wallcovering manufacturers in the UK – and it has teamed up with Cogent Skills to help employers recruit the best emerging talent.

We’re keen to understand and address the barriers to Chemistry and non-chemistry Graduates, entering the Coatings industry and are seeking the views of UK universities to help us:

understand students’ perceptions of the industry and the barriers they create
identify ways in which industry and academia can work together more closely
learn how our industry can develop future talent pipelines
recognise how the coatings industry can better meet the needs of graduates

Please join us for a roundtable discussion on June 10 (11am– 2pm) – either remotely or in person at Cogent Skills’ offices in Warrington. Participants will receive early access to the findings and play a vital part in shaping a careers strategy for the sector.
