To include: Understanding Diet and Heart Health, CPR Training, ECGs, the Human Simulator, Blood Clotting, the Cardiovascular System in Dogs, How to Be a Heart Surgeon, Heart Dissections, the Stent Simulator, How Zebrafish are Used to Study Hearts, Children of the 90s, Exercise and Heart Health and many many more….
Talks and Panel Discussions
Don’t miss expert talks on fascinating topics, places for talks are limited so please book a ticket. (approx 45 mins per talk):
- 4:00 pm Are you counting your steps: How sport and exercise improve heart health, from daily walks to extreme sports.
- 5:00 pm Women’s heart health: Insights into the unique challenges women face, from pregnancy to menopause.
- 6:00 pm Have your say! How patients and the public drive heart research: People with lived experience of heart disease are essential in shaping medical research. Facilitated by a BBC interviewer, patients and relatives will share their experience of living with a heart condition and engaging with research.
