Bristol Equality Charter

A unique in-person gathering to shape the Bristol Equality Charter and the future of equality in Bristol.

Join fellow Bristol Equality Charter signatories for an energising morning of connection, creativity, and collaborative vision-setting. This in-person meeting brings together partners from across the city to reflect on Bristol’s changing equality landscape, hear from Rising Arts Agency, and actively contribute to refreshing the Bristol Equality Charter so it remains bold, relevant, and impactful.

Why Attend?

Connect with fellow Charter signatories: meet in person, new networking opportunities, and share best practice across sectors.

Hear from Rising Arts Agency: Rising Arts Agency | Join the Movement Today

Rising Arts Agency is a social enterprise pioneering new ways of embedding care into workplaces and supporting marginalised people into leadership.

Take part in a dynamic workshop: Together, we’ll imagine a future where Bristol is known nationally for equality and leadership – and explore what needs to change to get there.

Help refresh and strengthen the Bristol Equality Charter: Your insights will directly influence updates to the Charter in response to the city’s evolving equality challenges.

Event Objectives

By the end of the session, attendees will have:

1. Strengthened collective understanding of Bristol’s current equality challenges

2. Co-created a future-focused vision for what an equitable Bristol should look like

3. Identified practical behaviours and commitments organisations need to start, stop, or change

4. Reviewed and refined the Charter principles to ensure they reflect current needs

5. Shared “offers and asks” to build collaborative action across the Network
