Launch event of the new Brisbane Spearfishing Club.Welcome to anyone interested in starting, or already experienced with spearfishing. We are looking for people who want to sign up for the club or learn about spearfishing or what we can offer!
Schedule for the day:
12:00 - Event Start.
Chance to speak with some of the team and learn about the club.
Meet our sponsors, local spearfishing equipment suppliers, and manufacturers that will be displaying and selling their equipment. Gain detailed knowledge on what you need to begin spearfishing or how to develop your current set-up.
Activities for the whole family - challenges, games, photobooths, and a colouring contest for the kids.
12:30 - Sausage Sizzle & Smoked Fish Burger BBQ. Drinks also available from the club bar.
13:30 - Three seminars from the club leadership team:
- Introduction to spearfishing and the club with Noobspearo
- Women in the Water - Breaking into Brisbane Spearfishing
- Leadership Panel and Community Q&A Session
14:30 - Year-long club event calendar reveal. See what activities you can be part of!
14:45 - Raffle and giveaway winner announcements
15:00 - Closing message from the Club
