About this Event
What happens when people with international experience, perspectives, and ambitions choose to build their lives, careers, and companies in Western Norway?
For this years First Tuesday summer party, we will meet individuals who have brought ideas, culture, expertise, and entrepreneurial drive from around the world, and found opportunities, networks, and new beginnings here on the West Coast. Some have founded companies. Others have built careers within Norwegian industry, research, and technology. What they all share is the ability to challenge perspectives, inspire others, and create value through diverse experiences and backgrounds.
What is it like to arrive in Norway and build something from the ground up? What stands out about Norwegian work culture, opportunities, and ways of working? And what can Western Norway learn from people who experience the region through a different lens?
We are bringing together inspiring voices from a wide range of industries and backgrounds for an evening focused on international talent, belonging, innovation, and the opportunities that emerge when global perspectives meet Western Norway.
Expect stories of ambition, risk-taking, culture clashes, unexpected opportunities, and the experience of creating something new far from home.
We’ll round off the evening the best way we know how: with good conversations and summer-vibes with the First Tuesday community
