About this Event

Oval Learning Cluster is excited to invite you to a networking and collaboration event for school staff with pastoral or family-facing responsibilities, as well as the Better Start North Lambeth team and some of our voluntary and community sector partners who work with children and families in Lambeth using art, drama, music and more.

This session is a valuable opportunity to:

  • Connect with others whose role lies within supporting families.
  • Share insights, challenges, and ideas
  • Collaborate with local providers offering practical support for children and families.

We’re kindly hosted by Better Start North Lambeth, and you’ll also have a chance to learn more about their offer for local families.

Who Should Attend?
This event is for:

  • School staff in pastoral, safeguarding, and family-focused roles, such as:
    • Family Support Workers
    • SENCOs
    • Inclusion Leads
    • Safeguarding Leads
    • Learning Mentors
    • Other roles that work closely with families

Why Attend?
This event will provide opportunities to discuss real challenges, explore innovative solutions, and develop meaningful connections to support children and families effectively.

With some funding from Maudlsey Charity we also developing a Schools and Family Practitioner to VCS Creative Health Consortium pathway in North Lambeth, strengthening links between schools and the local VCS sector and so this an opportunity to talk this through together.
