Bringing da Vinci to Life Art Workshop: Carlisle Arts Learning Center

Join WITF at Carlisle Arts Learning Center for an art workshop that focuses on clay sculpture and is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s celebrated mural, The Last Supper.
Led by artists Carrie Breschi and Maureen Joyce , the workshop asks, “What do you bring to the table?” Participants will use clay to create a “place setting” that speaks to the symbolism, perspective and emotion of this masterpiece.
No artistic background is needed; the breaking of bread and wine included. Let’s set the table.
WITF is Bringing da Vinci to Life and celebrating his lasting impact as an artist, inventor and innovator with a series of events, including 12 free Art Workshops for adults, ages 18 and up, throughout its 19-county footprint.
Bringing da Vinci to Life culminates on November 2 with a free community exhibit and preview screening of LEONARDO DA VINCI, a film by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon, at the WITF Public Media Center
Bringing da Vinci to Life is presented by WITF and supported by our partners, WETA and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts.
